About Us

We believe in the one, true, living God, who reveals Himself in the Persons of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

(Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Isaiah 43:10-13; Isaiah 45:5-7; Jeremiah 10:1-12; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6)

We believe in the Creation of the Universe by God, and the invasion of sin into the Universe after the Fall of Man.

We believe in the centrality of the Scriptures, the Old and New Testament, as the authoritative Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine and conduct. 

We believe it is essential to the life of the church that it be the company of people who want, above all else, that their lives be shaped by the powerful and living Word of God.

The alternative is clear.  Not to be shaped by the Word of God is to be shaped by the world.

We believe in the total depravity of man and his inability to attain righteousness apart from the salvation by the only Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, Saviour of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Gospel of the Grace and that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again for our justification.

We believe in salvation for all who believe, and that only such as receive Jesus Christ by personal faith are born of the Holy Spirit, and by Him are sealed to the day of redemption.

We recognize the need for creating a covenant between the infant, the believing parents and the congregation in the presence of God. 

We believe that this is implemented by the dedication on the infant.  This is to prepare an environment for the infant to be brought up in the knowledge of God’s Word, His love and Grace.

We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper as the two central ordinances of the New Testament.  They testify to both our New Life in Christ and His suffering for our sins.

Churches should be given the liberty in determining how these should be administered to believers.

(Act 2:38-39; Acts 16:15, 31-34; Romans 14:22; 1 Corinthians 1:16-17)

We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, has united every believer to Christ by Spirit baptism and that He indwells every believer to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to empower and instruct the believer in godly living.

We believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit for the building up of faith, and for testifying the grace of God to the world.

We recognize the reality and personality of Satan and his fallen angels.

(Job 1-2; Ephesians 6:10-18; 2 Corinthians 11:14; Revelations 12)

We acknowledge the eternal life of the believer in the New Heaven and the New Earth and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever and the fallen angels in the lake of fire.
